Did Zuckerberg Poach Talents with $100 Million? Meta CTO: OpenAI's Offer is Also Generous
According to CNBC, in response to the claim that Meta poached talents from OpenAI with a $100 million signing bonus, Meta's Chief Technology Officer Andrew Bosworth responded on Friday that OpenAI is no pushover and the company has taken countermeasures.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in a podcast this week that Meta had offered a signing bonus of up to $100 million to attract OpenAI employees to jump ship, but OpenAI's best employees chose to stay.
However, according to Bosworth, one reason why OpenAI's top talents chose to stay is that the company made a counteroffer and provided competitive compensation packages to retain employees.
"The salary levels set by the market for such talents are incredibly high, something I've never seen in my 20-year career as a tech executive," Bosworth said.
