Whatsapp Will Display Ads on the "Updates" Tab

Meta announced that starting from June 16, 2025, WhatsApp will run ads on the "Updates" (Status/Channels) tab. Meta claims that the ads will ensure privacy and achieve targeted delivery only based on data such as country settings, language, and channel interactions.
