The US Department of Defense said the work will be mainly carried out in and around Washington, D.C., and is expected to be completed in July 2026. OpenAI said last week that as of June this year, its annualized revenue had soared to $10 billion, putting it on track to meet its annual revenue target. The White House Office of Management and Budget issued new guidelines in April, instructing federal agencies to ensure that the government and the public benefit from the competitive US artificial intelligence market.
