The Microsoft Edge browser's browsing history will soon support AI search.
Microsoft Edge Browser History to Support AI Search
Microsoft has started testing a new feature for its Edge browser that adds AI-powered search to browsing history. This new "Enhanced Search" feature enables users to find corresponding websites in their browsing history even when using phrases similar to the actual website they want to find, synonyms, or even misspellings. The AI-powered history search feature began appearing in the beta version of Microsoft Edge last week. Microsoft explained in the release notes of its beta channel: "When this feature is enabled, the websites you visit will appear in enhanced history search results. The on-device model is trained using your data, which never leaves your device and is never sent to Microsoft." Microsoft has also added a Media Control Center to Edge, which allows users to control multiple media sources from websites.
