After announcing the shutdown of Pocket and Fakespot services, Mozilla has shut down two more services: the Deep Fake Detector extension that detects whether text is written by humans or AI, and the privacy - focused AI extension Orbit will cease to operate on June 26. Among them, Orbit is not really shut down, but has changed from a standalone extension to being integrated into the browser's sidebar. Orbit uses Mozilla's Mistral LLM (Mistral 7B) instance to handle user requests and does not collect data for model training.
