🤖 Google Gemini Introduces Scheduled Action Feature, but Only for Paid Users
The Google Gemini app has launched a new feature that allows users to schedule AI tasks in advance, such as generating daily email or calendar summaries. Users can set the specific time for task execution through the prompt bar, or convert existing prompts into repetitive operations. This feature is available to users of Google AI Pro ($19.99 per month) or Ultra subscription ($249.99 per month), as well as eligible Google Workspace business or education plan users. OpenAI's ChatGPT launched a similar feature as early as January 14th, but it is only available to Plus, Pro, and Team subscription users and does not yet support the Windows desktop version. The latest version of Google Gemini is deeply integrated with Google Workspace, allowing access to and processing of data such as Gmail, Chrome, and Photos. Google also plans to expand Gemini to devices such as cars, TVs, and XR headsets.
