🟥 Microsoft Photos App Gets AI Update, Bringing Multiple AI Features to Copilot+ PC

Microsoft has pushed an update to the Photos app for Windows 11 Insider channel users, bringing multiple new AI features to Copilot+ PC. The most eye-catching of these is the "Relight" feature, which allows users to add up to three virtual light sources to a photo and freely adjust their position, color, focus, and intensity to correct lighting or achieve creative effects.

This update also introduces natural language-based semantic search, enabling users to quickly find local photos using descriptive terms like "seaside sunset". In addition, business users can now log in with Entra ID and access the Restyle Image and Image Creator features. The Relight feature debuted on Copilot+ PC with the Snapdragon platform and will support AMD and Intel devices a few months later.
