On June 6, Google announced that the Gemini app has launched "Scheduled Actions". Its usage is very similar to ChatGPT's scheduling function: users can arrange for the AI to automatically execute tasks according to a schedule, such as daily schedule summaries or weekly creative updates.

The feature supports recurring or one-time execution and is available to AI Pro/Ultra and some Workspace users. Android Authority had previously revealed this feature in advance, demonstrating Gemini's advancement towards an active assistant.
