Anthropic Launches Custom Models for U.S. National Security Customers

Anthropic said it has released a new set of AI models tailored specifically for U.S. national security customers. In a blog post, Anthropic wrote that the new models are a customized "Claude Gov" model "built based on the direct feedback from our government customers to meet real-world operational needs." Compared with Anthropic's models for consumers and enterprises, the new customized Claude Gov models are designed for government operations such as strategic planning, operational support, and intelligence analysis. Anthropic said in the article, "These models have been deployed by the highest levels of the U.S. national security agencies, and only those working in these classified environments have access to them. They have undergone the same rigorous security testing as all of our Claude models."
