🤖Samsung Galaxy S26 may abandon Google Gemini and switch to Perplexity

* According to Bloomberg, Samsung is in talks with AI company Perplexity to plan a deeper integration of Perplexity's services into next year's Galaxy S26 series of mobile phones.
* Samsung may pre-install the Perplexity app and integrate its search function directly into the Samsung browser, and may even integrate it into the Bixby assistant to enhance its search capabilities.
* The two sides are also preliminarily exploring the development of a new "AI - driven" operating system, which may be another step for Samsung in seeking an alternative to Google's Android system.
* Although a cooperation agreement with Perplexity may be reached soon, it is not expected to be in time for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 to be released in August this year. The Galaxy S26 series is expected to be released in early 2026.
