Xiaohu: People seem to be easily triggered into a refuting mood once they are online.
That is, when seeing something that goes against their own views, cognition or experience, they always unconsciously trigger a refuting mood and make fierce comments.
I've been restraining this kind of mood for the past two years, allowing myself to accept different views and ideas.
I rarely block others, unless the other party launches a personal attack right from the start instead of focusing on the matter itself!
Also, as people get older, they are prone to unconsciously enter a kind of ideological information cocoon, self - isolating. I've always been interested in various things, but now it feels like a genetic switch has been turned on!
Unconsciously, I will actively ignore a lot of information that I think is irrelevant! 🤣
