By then, it will provide 1.2 gigawatts of electricity and become one of the largest data centers in the world. According to multiple informed sources, Oracle will purchase about 400,000 NVIDIA GB200 chips and lease the computing power to OpenAI. Crusoe Energy Systems, the owner of the site, and Blue Owl Capital, a US investment firm, have raised $15 billion in debt and equity financing to fund the Abilene project, which will include eight buildings.
