OpenAI announced that it will acquire io, an AI device startup founded by former Apple Chief Design Officer Jony Ive, for $6.5 billion, setting the company's largest M&A record since its establishment. Jony Ive and his LoveFrom design team will be fully responsible for the creative and hardware product design of OpenAI in the future.
