* Gemini AI Platform Upgrade: Google launches an AI tool suite based on the Gemini 2.5 platform. The CEO of DeepMind calls it "the smartest model".
* Enhanced Workspace AI Features: Gmail introduces personalized smart replies and inbox cleaning features; Google Docs allows users to link documents to limit the scope of AI writing; Google Vids adds an AI-generated avatar narration feature.
* Real-time Translation: Google Meet video calls will introduce real-time translation between English and Spanish. Initially, it requires the AI Pro plan, and Workspace subscribers will gain access later this year.
* Update of AI Content Creation Tools: Imagen 4 offers improved images and typography; Veo 3 can generate videos with audio; Lyria is a music generation tool; Flow can create movie shots based on prompts. The output of these tools comes with a SynthID watermark for identifying AI-generated content.
