Google Announces the Launch of NotebookLM Mobile App

Biao Wang, a product manager at Google Labs, said in a blog post that Google's NotebookLM mobile app is now available for Android on the Google Play Store, and for iOS and iPadOS via the App Store. A mobile app has been one of the most frequently requested features by the team. The mobile app appears to offer similar functionality to the desktop version of NotebookLM, including the ability to add sources of information for the app to summarize. It can also create AI-generated podcast-like audio overviews. Google says that with this app, you can listen to these audio overviews in the background while doing other things on your phone or even offline. The official launch of the mobile app comes just ahead of the Google I/O conference, which will kick off with an opening keynote speech at 1 PM ET on Tuesday.
