Social platform X got into trouble on Wednesday as its integrated AI chatbot Grok kept mentioning "white genocide in South Africa" in responses to unrelated posts. Now, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, is making some jokes about this controversy. Paul Graham, the founder of Y Combinator, posted on Thursday, "It would be really bad if those widely used AIs had stances arbitrarily inserted by operators during their operation." Altman replied, "There could be many reasons for this to happen. I'm sure xAI will soon provide a comprehensive and transparent explanation."
