🤖 LegoGPT: AI-Generated Lego Brick Designs for Actual Construction
Computer scientists at Carnegie Mellon University have developed a generative AI named "LegoGPT" that can generate Lego brick designs based on user - input text. Trained on the "StableText2Lego" dataset of over 47,000 Lego structures, this AI model can generate "stable" 3D Lego designs that comply with the laws of physics. LegoGPT generates physically stable designs in over 98% of cases and is 100% consistent with text prompts, avoiding the unstable or difficult - to - assemble designs produced by traditional AI generators. The researchers have uploaded LegoGPT to GitHub. Currently, the program supports 3D Lego creations with a maximum "20 × 20 × 20 grid" and plans to expand the brick library in the future.
