Google One AI Premium Is Free for College Students Until Spring 2026

Starting today, college students in the United States can sign up for Google's One AI Premium program for free, waiving the usual $20 monthly subscription fee until June 30, 2026.

According to Google spokesperson Alex Joseph, applicants need to sign up by June 30, 2025, and require a valid .edu email address for verification. He told The Verge that students will receive an email notification at the end of their plan, "so you'll have plenty of time to cancel your subscription."
