Apple Intelligence Unavailable in Meta's Apps

It seems that one of Apple's most useful artificial intelligence tools has been blocked in Meta's apps. The "Writing Tools" feature of Apple Intelligence is currently unavailable in Facebook, WhatsApp, IG, Threads, and Messenger. Apple's Writing Tools include options to proofread, rewrite, and summarize text in almost any place where input is possible in iOS 18. Long-pressing the text input field usually brings up this feature, but currently, this feature is not available in any of Meta's apps. Developers can choose whether to allow the use of these tools in their apps, so it appears that Meta has declined this proposal. Meta's apps have currently integrated Meta AI, which directly competes with Apple Intelligence.
