🤖Alphabet and Nvidia Invest in AI Startup SSI of OpenAI Co-founder Sutskever

Alphabet and Nvidia have invested in Safe Superintelligence (SSI), an AI startup co-founded by Ilya Sutskever, the former chief scientist of OpenAI. The company is valued at $32 billion. Alphabet will also sell its TPU chips to SSI to support its cutting-edge AI research. Currently, SSI mainly uses TPUs instead of GPUs for AI R & D. Nvidia holds more than 80% of the share in the AI chip market.
