ChatGPT Updates Memory Function to Better Remember Your Information
OpenAI has updated ChatGPT today, adding an improved memory function that enables the chatbot to remember more about your conversations. Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, said that ChatGPT can now "reference all of a user's past conversations," providing a more personalized experience. ChatGPT will remember the context of previous conversations, such as preferences and interests, and use this information to customize the responses it provides. You can directly add content to its memory by telling ChatGPT to "remember" a certain fact. The option to reference saved memories is optional and can be turned off under the "Personalization" option in the settings. The updated memory function is being rolled out to all Plus and Pro subscribers, but this feature is not available in the EU, the UK, and EFTA countries.
