China Adds 12 U.S. Entities to Export Control List

The Ministry of Commerce of China issued an announcement today, deciding to add U.S. companies including Photon etc., Novator, Akoda, Marvin Engineering, Exovela, Teledyne Brown Engineering, BRINC Drone, Kratos Unmanned Aerial Systems, Instu, Cenix, Firestorm Laboratories, and Domo Tactical Communications to the export control list. Export of dual-use items to the above-mentioned 12 U.S. entities is prohibited; relevant ongoing export activities shall be stopped immediately. In special circumstances where export is truly necessary, the export operator shall apply to the Ministry of Commerce. The Ministry of Commerce has added six entities including Shield AI, Sierra Nevada Corporation, Cyblex, Edge Autonomous Operations, Group W, and Hudson Technologies to the Unreliable Entities List, prohibiting the above-mentioned enterprises from engaging in import and export activities related to China and from making new investments within China.
