GPT-4o adds native image generation: more practical and accurate

OpenAI announces the integration of advanced image generation capabilities into the GPT-4o model. As a native multimodal capability, it can produce practical, precise, and photographically realistic images, rather than just pursuing aesthetics.

This feature significantly enhances text rendering, complex instruction following, and context understanding, supporting multi-turn conversation optimization and creation based on uploaded images. At the same time, it leverages GPT-4o's world knowledge to become a more powerful visual communication tool.

The new feature is being rolled out to ChatGPT users, with API access to follow, and includes C2PA metadata tracing.
